Grand celebration of Republic Day at SGBAU

Unfluring the national flag on the occasion of Republic Day at Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Murlidhar G. Chandekar called upon the gathering to make a resolve for all-encompassing development of the country.

Speaking further he said that the education field has a greater responsibility in this direction and should work to take the development further. He said that for the equal progress of all the haves need to pay more attention towards the have-not.

Later the Music team of the University sang the national anthem, where the very spirit of nationalism could be felt in the air itself.

Later, talking to the students of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication the Vice-Chancellor said,"there is only one parameter to elections which is development and the willpower of the person behind that development." He further added that "since the number of vote leads to victory of a party, one should keep in mind whom they are voting for and their reasons of selecting that party or person."

Present also on the occasion were Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rajesh Jaipurkar, the Director of IIMC Mr. Vijay Satokar and H.O.D. of IIMC Mr. Anil Jadhav, the staff of SGBAU and other dignitaries.
